Besenzoni purchased a five-axis inclined cutting machine powered by a full-electric E-Drive pressure intensifier pump. The machine was customised to the customer’s production specifications: the goal of UNICA – Besenzoni’s prototyping area in which the machine will be used – is to manage and fulfil all its client’s requirements, from the design to the creation of custom-made articles as well as providing invaluable support for the on-board assembly and ongoing global after-sales support.
Besenzoni represents the excellence of Made in Italy: it designs and manufactures a wide range of accessories for the yachting industry.

The company is geared towards sustainability as demonstrated by the BeElectric project, a new division which designs and manufactures products that are exclusively electrically powered using sustainable technology, such as the new electrically-powered Waterjet machine.

The machine, installed in October 2021, is a Classica model fitted with the new E-Drive 4200 bar electric pump. The machine was customised to meet the requirements of Besenzoni’s prototyping department which was looking for fast, reliable, sustainable and clean technology to produce the components of the projects being developed.

The machine was created with a work surface designed to fit the bodies of Besenzoni’s new electrically operated gangways; the side and front tilting panels with safety sensors to protect the operators and keep the work surface clean. Along with the automatic sludge removal system.

The expertise and preparation of waterjet immediately convinced me and now that the machine has been up and running for over six months i can safely say i wasn’t wrong.
