The company Effe.BI. founded in 1987 by Fabio Bresesti, has developed a solid organisation that can now count on a wide range of processing machinery and about 45 highly qualified employees operating in a modern plant of 7,500 square metres located in S.Giacomo di Teglio.

In its path of continuous technological development, Effe.Bi. has started a major renewal of its machinery, facilitated also by the Industry 4.0 plan: despite already having a cutting machine, the company has recognised the importance of investing in innovative technologies to maintain its competitiveness.

Therefore, as part of a business investment plan, it decided to evaluate a panel of suppliers, including the leading international manufacturers of waterjet cutting technologies, to finally select Waterjet Corporation as the ideal partner.

The machine supplied by Waterjet Corporation, with a 4,000 x 2,000 mm worktop, proved superior to the machines of the competition, both in terms of mechanical precision and quality of components and accessories for the 5-axis cutting head.
The X2 head with 5 interpolating axes allows the cutting inclined to +55° in space, offering Effe.Bi. greater flexibility and precision in machining operations. These features allow Effe.Bi. to successfully deal with the processing of complex technical materials, such as special steels used for fire dampers in the shipbuilding industry whose specifications often require cold cutting to preserve fire retardant properties.
