Glaserei Zeiler GmbH is an established German glassmaker that offers its customers a wide range of products and glass processing. The company faced the need to equip itself with a water cutting machine to make cuts in space, following complex geometries, fostering the production flexibility and high quality of the finish for which the company is known and appreciated on the German market.

Water cutting is a very versatile technology and guarantees a very high degree of finishing, thanks to the soft and precise cut.
Water cutting gives an advantage over traditional technologies because it performs machining, for example, notches, smoothing and drilling at a very fast speed, without the need for clamping the workpiece and eliminating the need for subsequent mechanical finishing operations that would instead be necessary with a classic milling technology.

The machine is a Classica CL 612 model with 5 3D axes, and is intended for processing on curved and inclined glass and allows the company to offer high quality customised products for furniture and interior decoration.

The German company took advantage of a financial support that allowed it to benefit from a 40% non- repayable contribution, allocated by the central State for certified technologies with high energy efficiency and low CO2 emissions. In this sense, the Full Electric E-drive pump guarantees a pressure intensification up to 4,200 bar with a very high efficiency (95%) and with an energy saving of 40% compared to traditional hydraulic intensifiers with asynchronous motor.
